Suppliers’ opinion of SEA

SEA's reputation ranking and the quality of its relationships regarding supplier stakeholders are the result of a survey performed by Marketing Problem Solving, a leading market research institute, in January 2015. From a panel of 171 external stakeholders, 30 suppliers were interviewed.

Quality of the relationship

77% of suppliers interviewed stated on average to having contact with a SEA Manager on 5 occasions during the year. 97% of suppliers considers their relationship with SEA useful or constructive and confirms that they are very confident or confident enough in the company.

The opinion expressed in relation to the quality of management is also complementary.

In the opinion of the suppliers the most qualifying points in their relationship with SEA are represented by reliability in payments, ability of the company to select suppliers based on the criteria of quality, honesty and transparency and the ability to clearly and seriously manage contractual negotiations. A positive assessment was also obtained for the punctuality of payments, efficiency in the administrative management of contracts and the fairness in determination of the service/price ratio. The level of partnership with suppliers was also positive.

Reputational assessment of SEA

83% of the sample of suppliers interviewed by Marketing Problem Solving resulted in an overall positive opinion towards SEA (on a scale with 1-10 value) corresponding to the values 7, 8 and 9. All of the sample expressed complete adequacy. 73% of the sample perceived a change in SEA in recent years and 82% considered it positive.

The evaluation of the central identity characteristics of SEA

SEA's identity, as perceived by its suppliers, is mainly characterised by the propensity towards a socially responsible conduct, reliability and soundness.

In second place, even if with significant value, are characteristics such as dynamic nature, proximity and innovativeness.

Evaluation of the distinguishing features of SEA

Suppliers consider as very positive SEA's guiding role for development of the territory, its leadership in its industry and its ability to search for new growth and development opportunities. Its ability to treat its counterparts with respect and the expertise and availability of its personnel are also viewed positively.
